AEDES DE VENUSTAS: PÉLARGONIUM

Originally started as a boutique in New York seventeen years ago selling niche perfumes, Aedes de Venustas has since then launched various perfumes not tailored to the market – but to them. Text by Wes Viana Ferreiro.

Aedes de Venustas’ mantra is to stay true to your own beliefs and produce only that what you would like to have. Coincidentally their latest fragrance Pélargonium is a surprising creation of a flowery scent with smoky undertones. Their muse: the Egyptian geranium.

Perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer draws geranium from the depths of the fragrance pyramid to display the complex facets of the other ingredients such as vetiver, cedar and moss. A genuine autumn fragrance with a flashback to summer.
