GET THE LOOK: DIOR MAKEUP S/S 2023

For the ready-to-wear spring-summer 2023 collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Peter Philips, creative and Image director for Dior Makeup, realized a makeup look where a crossed eyeliner puts the focus on the eyes.

5 Couleurs Couture 349 Prêt-à-Porter palette

Philips explains: “The eyes are emphasized with two lines that cross over at the inner corner of the eyelids. it’s a look with both punk and chic accents.”

Peter Philips explains: “To start I applied a sheer layer of nude eyeshadow from the 5 Couleurs Couture 349 Prêt-à-Porter palette. Then I drew a clean, graphic black line at the lash line of the upper and lower eyelids, with Diorshow 24h Stylo 091 matte black. At the outer corner I traced a precise straight line that gives us a slightly rough, rock finish. The element of surprise lies in the inner corner of the eyelids where the two lines cross over and create a graphic confluence. to intensify the look, I apply the Diorshow Khôl 099 black khôl on the water line of the eye. Then I accentuated the lashes while keeping them natural with Diorshow Iconic Covercurl 090 black mascara. Once the eye was framed, I finished emphasizing the look by tidying the eyebrows with Diorshow on set brow.”

The skin was first prepped with the routine of Dior Capture Totale super potent serum and Dior Capture Totale super potent eye serum for the eye area. next, the complexion was evened out with Dior Backstage face & body primer 001 universal, then Dior Backstage Face & body foundation was applied. touch-ups were done with Dior Backstage Face & body flash perfector concealer.

The lips were heightened naturally depending on skin tone thanks to the nude shades of Rouge Dior Forever: 100 Forever nude look, 200 Forever nude touch, 300 Forever nude style, 400 Forever nude line, 458 forever Paris, 505 Forever sensual, 525 Forever chérie, 883 Forever daring. For nails: natural in Dior Vernis 108 Muguet.
