Marc Jacobs takes us back to the 80s with a youthful 2017 Cruise Collection. Jacobs brought an array of 80s elements on the runway such as animal motifs, patchwork, neon colours, tropical flowers and a lot of tule. 2017 is not going to be dull!
"We took the fall collection and made it kitch, and went from YouTube bacj to MTV," said Marc Jacobs.
The show, held earlier this week, existed out of colorful 55 looks. It reminded more then ever on Jacobs earlier work. Not being afraid to play with volume, embellishments and mixing prints together creating looks where the eyes are never bored. Jacobs undelined he did not get his inspiration from Paradise Garage, the famous ’80s discotheque in New York. Looking at the hair, I must admit is is very nice to see waffle hair back again.
