ZHAZHDA

Zhazhda is a musical and visual project of two worlds colliding: that of producer Rimer London and artist Poseidonna (Sophia Batovrina). Zhazhda brings a base of catchy italo disco inspired beats, acid house and dreamy/pop arrangements. While the Russian vocals of Poseidonna who sings about the existential human experience, add a unique vibe of humor and depth.

Their first single for this project is ‘Padushki’ which means pillows and is a sexy tongue in cheek song about lovers and desire. Implicitly speaking to the erotic. For the video and visuals of 'Padushki', Zhazhda collaborated with the iconic Dutch photographers Petrovsky and Ramone to create this psychedelic wet dream world with a touch of 80’s nostalgia.

For the single art work they collaborated with artist Viola Renate @violarenate The single is available on 5 Nov on all streaming and the Full EP of 'Zhazhda' Is coming out on the 26th of Nov!
